Hey everyone,

I tried searching but couldn't turn up any results.

I'm using a DEM to show the elevation and I am using the hillshade option. The problem I am having is now that I am producing the legend, the colours don't seem to be correct because they hillshade is using two colours to produce it. But only one colour is present in the legend. Is there a way of showing the hillshade effect in the legend without exporting to another program?

Thanks,
Matt

I think that the quickest way to do it is to create a small dataframe with only your hillshade in it (remove all grids and annotations), the size of your legend patches, and zooming it to a representative region that shows your hillshade.

That way, you'll be sure that you'll show exactly what's on your map.

Thanks,

That will do exactly what I require,

Matt
