Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has experience implementing ArcGIS Server 9.3 with SQL Server 2008 Spatial yet?
If so, I would appreciate it if you could give me a description on how well these two packages implement with each other as well as the good and bad things about the process and the end product on a whole?
I imagine that querying will be greatly improved?
What does the new "geography data type" from SQL offer?
Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can give me.
Cheers,
Darren

Sounds like a question for the ESRI technical sales support, or for the ESRI forums...
I doubt that the querying and data retrieval through the ArcGIS Server interfaces will be that much faster or different, I can imagine that the main benefits would be that you can access and integrate with your data through interfaces other than Arc's. Like querying it straight up, or integrating with other spatial/aware applications that are outside the ESRI ecosystem.
But I don't know much about the latest versions of these products!
