SkyscraperCity has begun a daily test challenging readers to guess the city from an aerial image.

Some years ago, we had a very similar contest on CartoTalk.
A hint if you start today. Put the more general name (such as New York) you'd tell a travel agent, not the very specific district name (such as Brooklyn) that you might put on a map.

Yes, I didn't have too much trouble with the March 31 or April 1 images.

I do remember spending way to much time on that old contest. There were two of us in the office that would hit it each morning. I no longer have that kind of time available, I'm lucky if I can check the forum twice a week now-a-days.

That was good fun. Definitely added to my list of places i'd like to go, like Moyogalpa, Nicaragua (thanks erin, i think if i remember correctly...)

I'm terrible at this game at SCC...I've gotten maybe 5 right so far.
