No I think he meant a proper projector . the map is crooked
But yeah, for a company touting all of it's mapping capabilities, I think a simple map like this should've been done properly. I wonder what their reasoning is for leaving those out? It looks like they are employing the use of "no data" classification (gray areas). Why not use that for the missing countries?

Or it's a "rookie" mistake like one I did a couple years back... I linked my countries to an incomplete attribute file so the countries with no data didn't show... It almost went to press before I realized it.
