Hello All,
I am posting this information from a friend that was looking for a map that covers from Chicago, IL to Hammond/Gary, Indiana area ? Any ideas where do I find them ?

Did your friend try looking at AAA? Not too sure exactly what sort of map you are looking for...

I have such a map, showing every street in Chicago plus adjacent suburbs (which includes Hammond). It's extensively fieldchecked, so it will accurately show the casino approach drives, the Lake George Golf Course, the new South Shore Station, the cul-de-sacs along State Line Road, etc.
Alas, it's not commercially published, if you mean that he wants a single paper copy to put in his glove compartment. The Chicago area is mapped in multipage atlases by American Map and by Rand McNally, though they only go a couple of miles across the border into Indiana. However, Rand has a companion atlas for Northwestern Indiana that is, I think, part of the same electronic base. So a wallmap ordered through the Rand Website could span the border seamlessly (though I'll probably sell you a more accurate one for less).
