Hello :)

A new version of the StatPlanet visualization software has just been released - http://www.sacmeq.org/statplanet/
and as the developer of the software I would be very happy to receive any comments, suggestions for new features, etc. StatPlanet can either be used online or downloaded as an offline application, and it comes with around 180 indicators (e.g. health, demographic, economic, education).

If you wish to create maps with your own data you can download the Map Maker: http://www.sacmeq.or...-Map-Maker.html

Currently there is only the world map version, but some country versions will be added soon. On a side note, does anyone know where to find free regional maps in a format that can be read by Adobe Illustrator?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Frank

This looks great! I made some interactive thematic maps in Flash last year and I could have used something like this. I may switch them all over to your Map Maker at some point.

Thanks for your comment. An Excel macro for automatic data importing is included so this could speed up the process.
