Hello all.

Any ideas on where to find aerial photography for Guatemala? Time period is flexible- could potentially use anything from the 1950s- present.

Best regards,
David

David, So ppl can give you better leads, what resolution do you need, and does it need to be projected for use in GIS?
If you have ArcMap you could use ESRI's layer: Microsoft Virtual Earth.

I looked up Guatemala City in ArcMap and got the view below...

Thanks for the link. The resolution of that photo would be fine- I'm interested in using it as a tool in assigning vegetation classes to a region of eastern Guatemala. I'll be down there later this year but I'm trying to get a jump on things early. The actual GIS work is being done with Landsat imagery, so at the moment, the aerial photography is an extra tool to help work out the accuracy of a land cover scheme.

What is your region of interest David? If you'd post your bounding coordinates I could spend some time looking through some archives we have here were I work...
