So, hello. I'm here in Minneapolis, MN. I work for a wind power developer and am just learning how to use ArcGIS. I have been using Global Mapper...I know, I know....... but now I have to move on... I'm hoping to learn A LOT from folks on this board!

Thanks!

Helly Jennastics,
I use Global mapper and Adobe CS4. I love the combo for cartographic projects. I have worked on ArcGIS and it is ok. You can get creative on that program if you know where all the tools are (and there are a lot). If you want to create something really nice, you can export files from ArcMap as an .ai file and do some fine tuning that way. Just a hint.

Hello, nice to hear from you. (I am new as well.) I've done some work for solar power companies so I am definitely interested in anything alternative-energy related that you can share with us.
