The following map shows all venues of Technical Conferences on Cartography and International Cartographic Conferences of the ICA. I also added the year dates to the cities.
In the diagramm below you can see when, where and how many papers were presented.

Now I would be happy about some comments on the map and the diagramm.

Great Diagram/Map! I like the inset/zoom map. One thing I noticed instantly is that your y-axis is not labeled on the graph. Other than that, I think it is a clean and efficient way to show the data both spatially and graphically.

Its beautiful. I believe the graph an map should have titles: Origin of Venue Participants, and Number of Venues per Conference.

It looks good.

But you can't tell what the graph is showing. The Y-axis has no legend. Is it showing persons, papers, number of hotdogs eaten?

Beautiful map. Maybe the diagramm should be smaller... Check data for Moscow, Ottawa and Madrid - years on map and graph are different.
