With beta testing concluded, ThinkGeo has just released the final editions of Map Suite Web Edition 3.1, Services Edition 3.1 and the World Map Kit Extension. These GIS software development tools, designed natively for Microsoft's .NET Framework, are targeted toward swift and powerful creation of Web-based mapping applications (Web Edition) and Windows services and console apps (Services Edition).

The new releases all include numerous bug fixes and feature enhancements that were identified not only by Map Suite's development team, but also through excellent feedback from the large community of Map Suite users. We've added features that were requested, further improved our APIs, and have integrated updated data into the World Map Kit extension to alleviate a number of spatial inaccuracies.

A free 60-day evaluation of Web Edition 3.1 or Services Edition 3.1 can be downloaded from ThinkGeo's website at http://gis.thinkgeo.com. Customers who purchased the beta version of Web Edition, Services Edition or the World Map Kit are entitled to a free upgrade to the final release. Licensees of Web Edition and Services Edition can download the final release from the ThinkGeo Customer Portal at http://helpdesk.thinkgeo.com.

Full press release information is here.

2009 looks to be an exciting year for ThinkGeo, with the upcoming beta releases of Map Suite Silverlight Edition, plus next-generation versions of Map Suite Pocket PC and Map Suite Geocoder. (Plus a whole bunch of new surprises.)
