Hello!

I need to raise the terrain of a GeoTIFF 32bit elevation map by 9 meters. Does anyone know an easy way to do this?
I have some programs that could be of some use, but not ESRI (just can't afford it):

Photoshop CS3
Global Mapper 10
FW Tools

This can be done using Peter Guth's freeware program Microdem:
http://www.usna.edu/...icrodemdown.htm

You would open the DEM and select Edit, Single Grid Arithmetic, Raise/Lower Z Values.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the info. After having some problems with Microdem and the filetype I'm using I gabe Global Mapper another try and - surprise - it does have that feature, too!
Tools -> Control Center -> Options -> Alter Elevation Values -> Offset

Bests,
