Have you heard the band They Might Be Giants (TMBG) - a quirky bad with witty lyrics - I think their popularity peaked in the early nineties. Anyways - lately they have made kids music, and I just picked up the CD/DVDs for their albums on the alphabet and numbers: Here Comes the ABCs and Here Comes the 123s (the latter has better videos). Great stuff! (which we will put away until my daughter's third birthday or so...)

Anyways - the opening track on the "Here comes the ABC's" is about geography, and it is a great tune!

Yes, of course they have made other "geographic" songs, most notably I think was their version of "Istanbul, Not Constantinople"". I remember seeing a video of it on VH1 back in the day. :)
