Greetings All

I just stumbled on this site and decided to join. This is exactly the type of user forum I was looking for. More on cartography and mapping.

Just a brief introduction. I have been working in Remote Sensing, GIS, Project Management and Database Design for the past 10 years. I graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Geography and just recently completed my MSc in GIS from the same institution. I currently am working as a GIS/RS Analyst for Saudi Aramco here in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. My wife, 2 children and I have been here for 4 years and have really enjoyed the experience. Recently, I have been doing alot of research and practice in cartographic production and I have been really impressed with some of the work that has been done by various companies I have found on the web. I hope I can make maps half as good. One of my interests is to eventually go freelance and I hope to get started while working abroad (I will save that for another post).

Hopefully I can be a good contributor to this list.
