Hi all,
Trying to use xtools add on for Arc but dont know where to put the .avx file? Am using 9.3 and can find the default extension folder?

I am pretty sure that you have downloaded the Arcview 3 version of Xtool - avx would be an extension for that...

There is a version of Xtools for ArcGIS 9.3 but it's not free like the original 
You can download a 30 day trial - but then it's going to cost you. Hawth's tools, on the other hand is an excellent FREE script and helps out with a lot of GIS chores.
