Hi there,
I have alot of points (which are tracks of animals over time). What I want to do is connect the dots based on each individual animal (say by their animal number). I have tried to use tracking analyst but it crashes out. I do not need anything fancy. Just lines instead of dots.
Thanks very much
Josie

Hi all,
I have managed this now with tracking analyst. Apparantly today my computer is not crashing. Thus I have more luck and can make tracks using the symbology.
Thanks anyway
Josie

Hi Josie!
If Tracking Analyst re-craches, for ecological analysis, there's always Hawth's Tools. There's a tool to do that: "Convert Locations to Path (Points to Line)".
Even for non-ecological analysis, this is an indispensable set of tools!

Thanks Francois,
That is very helpful actually. I was hoping there was another tool to do it and I do have Hawths tools!
Thanks again!
