hi,
I'm a student of a 2nd level degree course of visual and multimedial communication in venice (italy).
I'm starting to write my final thesis and I'd like to make something about urban signage for blindpeople.
I know, maybe it's not so connected with this forum, but I'm here to ask you if you know something about cities that did something in this field in their signage. I'm looking, for example, for cities that made some special signage to let a blind recognize which bus is going on, or some way to create a path into the city that a blind man can easily follow to reach some of the cultural points of the city.
I know I'm a bit OT, but I founded this link on a italian graphic design magazine called "Progetto Grafico" in an article about map projection and blindness and so I come here to know something more.
thanks in advance to everyone who let me know something
