Does anyone have any experience is dealing with cartographic liability stemming from misrepresenting an activing on a persons land?
I've been approached to help map some illegal behavior as it pertains to residences (housing units) and/or land parcels.
I'd assume any lawyer could have a field day if they felt one's name was incorrectly dragged through the mud. What might be the other consideration and/or any case law in this area?
Any thoughts or expericnes with regards to this would be appreciated. Contact me off board if you like. totes100@hotmail.com

So far as I know, the case law of libel would apply. So truth would be a defense.
However, there are other causes of action, such as tortious interference with business relations, that may be applicable.
Can you describe the situation a little more?
