What additional parameters would you want for World from Space?


Well, it would be nice if one could create more oblique views, rather than just looking towards the nadir (which I think might be the right term!). To specify altitude, tilt and direction of view.

Here's a reply I got from our projection guru:
"A similar projection to orthographic is "vertical near-side perspective".
It allows you to set your height above the surface. We don't yet have a projection that you can then tilt--that would be an "oblique near-side perspective"."
