Okay... so it's slightly self-promoting, but I thought I'd share this one here:


This is a project that I recently finished for a client. A php application to generate this map and the elevation profile automatically from GPS logs. All of the bike route maps on http://www.ferienregion-vinschgau.com are done in this way.

I'm particulary proud of the profile, it's a jpg created with the GD libraries of php. The link between the profile and the map is some DHTML wizardy that was already in the sample they sent me. I think I understand how it's working now.
