I think it would be interesting to see what type of environment everyone is working in.

I have posted below photos of both my work and home office.

(I admit, these photos are POST cleaning spree)

Post your's!

I'd have to do a lot of cleanup before my home office looks even remotely presentable  Anyway, it's basically a desk crammed full with a computer, 19" widescreen monitor, keyboard, external hard drive and whatever else I can fit on there. Oh, and a duckie :P

Greg, your top picture takes me right back to my Ontario roots. The Algonquin Park and Hamilton maps were immediately recognizable! :)

This thread hasn't yielded the revealing photos I had hoped for!

10pts for creativity though, Jean-Louis!

I do not have an office space, & I am not going to show you my bedroom. But if I must imagine a garbage dump with a computer .

"There is much beauty that we fail to see through our own eyes teeming with life forms that give us that perception of our reality.  Leaves on the trees blowing gently in the wind, or scarily, the waves pounding through high surf, or lightly on a warm summer’s day; that opportunity to sit or swim in the water on a white beach.   That comfort to shout, “The universal conscious do you hear me?  I am alive, guide me dear logos towards the path of rightnesses.”  Earned what has been kept, no longer to be absorbed into a life filled with cold damn winds and  that stubborn fog clouding  my vision with nothing but darkness."

You crack me up Jean-Louis! :D

Here's a photo of my home, ehem, i mean office workstation (complete with today's leftover lunch and kaia my dog). This is usually what it looks like by the end of the day but (for the record) I clean up every night, only to wreak havoc once i return the following day  . I also have a home office, but will have to add a photo of that once i get home!

And here is my place. Yes I need a lot of desktop space and it's looks like tidy and clean place but in every day reality it is not.

Where are all the Nerf guns and Newton's cradles?
These should be standard desk appliances!

Love your desk Lui - very nice.

This tread reminds me of my humble office in a 17th century farm house in Italy - when I was just starting out, so everything has been upgraded since, including me :)
It was very quiet. Above the desk is an old window used for pigeons, back when the farmer raised them (yum yum).

well, since you asked frax...

BEHOLD! the attack ferret! (you can also see her under my desk in the previous photo)

insider info : a coworker gave me that sign as a joke referring to my 8 pound Clarrisa Fourie/chihuahua who often comes to work with me, and while not violent per se, keeps up the bad little dog rep by barking at anyone who calls her "cute"...
