I am working on a new urban base map preparation project from h Word Doc Contents:
Hi Yanenesh—I have deleted your first post which hadn't been approved yet from the general Cartography forum and moved this one back there as it's more related to that than GIS in my opinion. Putting your message in a word doc is a good way to make it more difficult (and therefore less likely) for people to read.

I am working on a new urban base map preparation project from high resolution satelites. One of the tasks is to prepare map layout specification for quality control. Does any one help me on giving the ideas of map layout rules like :- cartographic layout elements, text font,lines thickness, page margin and so on... based on different scales for 1: 5000
and any valuable ideas are also welcomed.
