Hi Marti—welcome to Cartotalk. I'm not sure anyone is going to be sure what you are after with that post (I deleted you second topic).

Are you after a freelance, map book designer or are you a freelance, map book designer yourself? Also either way I think the topic would be better placed in the Business Opportunities forum than the General Cartography Advice.

I know there are some differences especially graphically but doesn't Mac & PC share most software packages?
