I don't know who all of the contributors are, but I'm guessing you could save some money by coming to the NACIS meeting in Missoula this October and getting signatures there (in person!).

nick, you should consider a personal promotional tour. I can take care of the Hawaii logistics. That list looks like it would be a fun trip.

Just curious - is this a limited print run, and then how many copies, or is this print-on-demand?

I am awfully curious about the quality and the service of the print-on-demand. It seems to be a great way to self-publish.

I've heard some good things about them, so I'm quite looking forward to getting my copy as well.

Adam, I'll be in Missoula for NACIS and probabely in the Seattle/Vancouver area after that for a couple of days. I have some friends in Anacortes that I'll be visiting. Would be happy to sign your copy. In fact, I think it's a cool idea and will bring mine as well.

The book is in fact printed on-demand, and I am amazed at the quality. You would be very hard pressed to tell the difference from an offset print.

Yes indeed, a whole new world. I've even got a project in-hand now, to create a wall map for a map store in Canada. They have a large 42" printer in-house, and they'll print the map on demand for the customer. There's just not enough demand for this particular product to go the offset route, but print-on-demand is a fit.
