Maps.com (www.Maps.com) is accepting applications for the position of CARTOGRAPHER within our Custom Cartographic Division (www.custom.maps.com).

Founded in 1991 and based in Santa Barbara, CA, Maps.com is an industry leader providing a variety of custom cartographic solutions for businesses and organizations worldwide. The Custom Cartographic Division utilizes GIS, vector and raster design applications, aerial imagery, 3D rendering software, and other traditional cartographic techniques to create maps for print, online, and animation.

Maps.com is seeking a cartographer with experience in ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, and who is comfortable on both MAC and PC platforms. Knowledge of Flash, Freehand, Natural Scene Designer, API map programming, InDesign, Photoshop, Spatial Analyst, font management, Geocart, etc..., is a plus. Maps.com supports continued education in the art of cartography, and applicant must have a passion for the cartographic trade. This position will be out of our Santa Barbara office: applicant must be friendly, professional, hard working, organized, computer savvy, accurate, enthusiastic, easy to work with, and enjoy working with maps in a team environment.
