Hi!!!

A general question on geophysical data capturing, I have been working on a lot of geological map, but had little understanding on why do the geologist mostly prefer the Flight lines and Contours intersection points rather than capturing the contours and attributing their respective "Z" Elevation. There could be a reason to cut short the commercial on capturing front or Else?

I know i am going to get a lot of valubale answer to my question, which indeed will make me understand the business further.

Suresh
i understand that you got confused with my message. its Contour lines crossing over the flight lines. The below snapshot would be more clear for you to understand.

From your graphic I think you mean transects, not flight lines. And I'm not clear on your question. Perhaps you could restate it?
