I want to ask some cartographers on Carto-Talk their experiences dealing with programming Google Maps API & related IMS projects. Now the reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking of adding IMS services to my company I will be using ASP.NET & SQL due to the Manifold software package I currently hold, & there seems to be an ever incressing market for this kind of map making ability. So it's in my opinion that as cartographers in order to gain an advantage over our web programming competitors we must begin to emphasize IMS training at the college level.
