Being a CAD/GIS Professional how do i land getting considerable CAD Conversion jobs in equal intervals, i know its difficult but, being a CAD/GIS Specialist i feel there is some way in reaching the service seekers, Coz i see a lot of freelancing websites, which display these kind of service seekers, but i end up loosing my money by subscribing and paying the fees, in order to procure any real orders.
We are capable of working on different softwares:
AutoCAD
Microstation
MapInfo
ESRI
MapGuide, but not really getting the hold on it, any biz tactics from the legend in this forum.
Cheers!!!!

I've moved this thread to this forum, as Business Opportunities is more for actual business opportunities.
One thing I found is that having a network of contacts who know what you can do is very valuable. Word of mouth is still the cheapest form of advertising. Something as simple as getting in touch with past clients and inform how they are doing could already land you some new projects (or at the very least bring you under their attention again).

I would look at the local/regional market - to be a small shop and to land outsourcing contracts from a website I can imagine being tricky - quite a lot of competition.
