GIS/Cartographer Vacancy - Nuneaton CV114EH

Our Client is a market-leading firm of Consultants providing bespoke services to the UK Utility sector. Following recent contract awards, the company is seeking to resource a new business unit to provide field based survey work and associated GIS/CAD drawings to it's blue-chip client base.

Working from newly refurbished offices based in Nuneaton, candidates will be required to interpret field survey reports, subsequently producing high quality two-dimensional drawings using a GIS/CAD system.

The successful candidate will be required to work in a team environment and demonstrate the drive, effort and commitment to deliver against challenging targets. The quality of final drawings is of paramount importance and as such, diligence and attention to detail form key selection criteria.

Candidates will also require good inter-personal skills, reliability and integrity in order to be considered for this exciting role.

Full training in the use of the GIS system will be provided, however a broad familiarity with GIS/CAD software would be an advantage. Competence in the use of the MS Office Suite (including MS Access) would also be beneficial.

Salary £13,000 p.a. during the initial 13 trial period;
Rising to £15,000 thereafter;
Figures exclude overtime and performance bonus;
Immediate start.
