Does anyone use the fonts in Mapmaker Plus for antique style maps? I have been looking for some old-style fonts and came across this:

I am guessing you would have to convert the building fonts to outline in order to work with them in Illustrator..........

I have used a number of antique fonts for maps (but not the ones you mentioned):
Old Claude
Camden
Blackadder
Caslon Antique
Allegheny
They also don't have to be distressed like the ones above to feel antique. Any good serif font with a small x-height will feel old:

Heofler Text & Hoefler Titling
You should be able find most of these on http://www.myfonts.com
