I'm new to cartography, and I'm trying to create a shaded relief map in Photoshop from data I downloaded from USGS and I have some questions. Can someone please point me to the right forum? I'm sure my question has been asked and answered before.

Thanks

For doing it in Photoshop - I find Alex Tait's tutorial here the best resource:

Thanks for the info, I took a look at those sources, but they don't quite address the specific issue I'm having. I'll try posting a more specific question in the GIS forum.

Thanks again.
