I have been working as a freelancer for quite some time, I don't know the skill, or don't really understand how to make my self a successful freelancer in getting lot of contacts to execute my service for the associate who wants it.

I have been working and leading a number of Geological maps for a OZ based mineral exploration company.
I have indepth knowledge related to mapping execution like
Surface Mapping
Outcrop mapping
Interp mapping
X section mapping
Geophysical map interpretation
Assay data database management
Worm interpretation Etc.

But when i landed up doing freelancing, i did very little business, in order to get/attract more orders for the above said mapping service, what exactly i need to do. I am really surprised to see many giants over here in this site, to have made their career a successful one thru freelancing.Can i expect some response from you great guys to lift my bar.
