Greetings,
This is my first post here.
I am using ArcView GIS 3.2.
The lines for roads, streams etc are composed of numerous broken segments.
I then Export as an Ilustrator file.
When I open the file using AI CS2 the lines are still in numerous
segments.
Question:
How can I join the line segments to create a continuous path using AI CS2?

I use MAPublisher for this. There is a filter for joining arcs. You have to give the data a dummy attribute that's the same for all the lines you want to join. It's similar to a dissolve in GIS.

I prefer to do this in a GIS (my choice would be FME), it's a GIS function after all...
