Hello-
I am working on updating my digital maps for major cities in Morocco so that Navigation and turn by turn instructions can become possible. I know that each Navigation or LBS software provider has different standards. But does anyone know what the basics of what the database should look like.
I have been doing some research online and it seems that there must be at least nodes and edges. Are there applications online that help automate the process to develop this data?

Was anyone in our Cartotalk community involved in such a project? If so, could you give some guidance on tha Database structure / specifications? I would appreciate it.

Fayçal, You may get the answer here, but since this board is mostly frequented by people working with the outputs (i.e. maps) it might be good to post this question to some GIS forums as well, such as the GisList mailing list.
