Could we post a comment explaining why we prefer an option on another? It will be an election AND a debate
Sure. We had this debate before and it really comes down to personal preference. Since it can't be a personal choice with this software, I am going to go with the majority.

I vote for change!
What I REALLY would love would be to subscribe to CartoTalk or particular topics as RSS feeds so I can view them in Google Reader.

There is an RSS feed link at the bottom of the page. You can't subscribe to individual topics, but you can for the board as a whole. What I REALLY would love would be to subscribe to CartoTalk or particular topics as RSS feeds so I can view them in Google Reader.

everything in placeOne option that another forum I frequent has (they go oldest first which is what I voted for BTW) is an icon that jumps to the latest post which I use all the time. Just what works somewhere else I don't want to make more work for anyone.
Cheers,
Sam.
