I'm looking for a legend to the NLCD dataset. Does anybody know where I can find one?

Are you looking for guidance or a legend file for Manifold or Arcmap?
Otherwise, see

as an example.

Guidance mainly. I'll use it, along with Landsat imagery, local knowledge and a glance at Google Earth aerial photos, to sketch out land use to add color to a hillshade image.
That sample looks pretty useful. Thanks!

I have recently downloaded some of this data from the USGS and the legend is included with the imagery. It renders like shown in the attached image (nlcd.jpg). I have also attached an example of something I have done mixing the NLCD with the hillshade. (hillshade.jpg)

Rich,
I downloaded them from the Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics Consortium, didn't get a legend with it. Not that it matters that much, it's only a small area that I'm interested in and with the aerial photos, DRGs and everything along with it, I should be able to figure it out.
