Happy New Year everyone!
I want to write a short piece on the anatomy of a map for our Cartographers' Guild site (fantasy mapping). Does anyone know if there is a lexicon of cartographic terms explaining all the elements that might be found on a map e.g. rhumb lines, graticules etc etc. I'm more interested in historical map terminology rather than modern as the former are more in line with what we tend to produce at the Guild.
Many thanks!
