Regarding the Making Maps book: The publisher informed me that a problem
arose and new orders of the book may be delayed for a week or two. Also,
there is only a softcover version of the book available (some internet sites
list a hardcover). Finally, the publisher informed me that if the book is
purchased through their web site http://www.guilford.com/ and you use the
"Promotional Code" 5T you can get 15% off.
