We've got about 6 or 7 copies of Illustrator in the office and we are all relatively new to it. When using the Seelction Tool most of can select objects (of course) and rotate or scale them with out changing tools. One person, however, can't seem to rotate or scale, using the selection tool. All his settings appear to be the same as everyone else's. Does anyone know how one can change that?

Make sure that person is using the selection tool (v) and not the direct selection tool (a) first.
