Nah, the only thing that is a bit insulting about that comic is that it seems to originate from Denmark...which I equate to the response a "commentary" type of strip would get in Denmark if the subject matter were Denmark and it originated from the United States. It's a lot funnier poking fun at oneself than it is lobbing stones over the Atlantic/Pacific/Rhine/English Channel/etc. <_<

If you want to see an offensive "geography lesson" though, my "favorite" insult has always been the Saul Steinberg's take on New Yorker's view of the United States from New Yorker Magazine in 1976:

[edited to add:] What is even MORE insulting though is the fact that Wikipedia allowed that New Yorker .png to be published at 437 KB. That's an extra two seconds of my life that I'll never get back... :P

I don't find it offensive. It's just not accurate or very creative. It takes someone on the inside to get it right...maybe Gary Larson or George Carlin.
