hi,
in great need of help, does any one have any ideas hows to create cross blended hypsometric tints in ArcGIS. i have a dem and want to show the graduation from desert to grassland to snow on top of what ive already got which is an hypsometric tint showing elevation. any help appreciated.

Hi Carmine,
Just deleted you double post. Untill an admin approves you as a member your posts have to be approved before they show up. There is some great info on this at www.shadedrelief.com
Personally I would do this in Photoshop. May be ways around it in arc but they would be clunky I'd say but maybe others can give more feedback to the Arc route.
