Hi there,
Does anyone know how to batch transfer attributes from a polygon to a point in ArcGIS (ArcView licence). I've been using the attribute transfer mapping tool but its extremely slow considering I have a large number of points.
Thanks!!

If they share the same spatial location then I would perform a spatial join with the two layers. Simply right-click on the point layer and select "Join..." from the "Joins and Relates" option. Then from the first pull-down option change it to be "Join data from another layer based on spatial location". To me this is the simplest way to transfer attributes.

Thanks Kevin. Spatial Join works like a charm.
