Hi,
I have just joined the forum. I work in a hospital-affiliated epi research centre, but I am a geographer by trade. I've been working in health GIS field for about 7/8 years now. I've used in the past and now all kinds of GIS and graphic software to do my analyses and maps including MapInfo, ESRI products, several raster-based systems (not recently), Corel, FreeHand+MAPublisher, Illustrator. Recently I've been working with my colleagues on health-related altases for Toronto and for Ontario, both of which pose specific sets of challenges, hence my joining of this forum. I am hoping to share my experiences with the members of this discussion portal but also to learn from others, as I am sure the knowledge and experiences of members of this forum exceed my own.
