I received notice on July 10 from Avenza that MP 7.5 was shipping. Version 7.5 is compatible with CS3 and CS2.

Yes, MP 7.5 is compatible with both CS2 and CS3 (at least that is what my documentation says). The same is true for Geographic Imager.
