Does anybody have any idea what font this is?

It's not one that's in my existing collection of fonts, although Garamond comes rather close and I think I could get away with using that one (I have to produce a map based on this one and obviously I would like to try and use the same fonts to preserve the look and feel of the original)

Looks like New Baskerville to me. MyFont has a feature where you can identify fonts with the use of an image. I clipped out Guadeloupe and tried it on that. There's also Identifont which asks you a number of questions about what certain letters look like.
