Hi;
Im looking for free forest data for Europe. I want to use it to map at country level.
I know that some cartographiv companies get forest layer from Landsat imagieres - but its to much detailed.
Any sugestions?

You could try the SPOT vegetation product which I believe can be obtained for free after a certain time has elapsed. You could also use MODIS VCF depending on the scale of your maps.
