Hi everyone out there, my name is Jesse and i am a GISer turning towards carto. i like the mix of design and data. i feel way more comfy with data coming from a scientific background but i like the freedom of cartography and the length of the projects! so i am working at a university teaching GIS and working contracts as well as carto at a consulting firm. i am looking to get a start freelancing...any leads in the bay area, dont be shy. anyway i hope to gain some insight from this community, oh and i am an ESRI/AI man, with an interest in redoing city maps in the old styles, to produce up to date antique lookin maps, and whatever else comes along
thanks
Jesse
