Hello everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a Geography major/Cart minor at the University of Arkansas. I chose this field due to my love for maps and physical geography. Im hoping to use this site as a tool for getting to know the Cart community and I hope it provides insight down the road. Im currently awaiting acceptance to Victoria University in Wellington, NZ for a year to study in-depth Cartography and GIS. I chose this school because of its large selection of classes in this field and I would like to experience another culture. I look forward to chatting!

-Nystrom

ps: If I dont get accepted to VUW, what are some other good schools for this field outside the US?

Welcome.

In Canada you could look into Sir Sandford Fleming College in Lindsay Ontario or COGS in Nova Scotia. Both have very good reputations for their cartography programs.
