I've looked at it.
Alot of reproductions from the Rumsey collection and a few merges of historical maps with satellite imagery that are very nice but not worth the price of the book which is quite steep if I remember correctly.

It costs $79.99. You can see the same maps for free by checking out www.davidrumsey.com.
In fact you can download all the maps you want as MrSid images and print them out. I call it "the poor man's historical map collection."
