Has anyone read this book? It is from ESRI Press: http://gis.esri.com/...D=78&moduleID=0

I am about to order some books, and found this one by coincidence...

I've looked at it.

Alot of reproductions from the Rumsey collection and a few merges of historical maps with satellite imagery that are very nice but not worth the price of the book which is quite steep if I remember correctly.

It costs $79.99. You can see the same maps for free by checking out www.davidrumsey.com.

In fact you can download all the maps you want as MrSid images and print them out. I call it "the poor man's historical map collection."

Speaking of map collecting, have you heard of this conference?

I found out this book is just $ 50.11 at overstock.com only with $1 shipping cost.

Thank you everyone for all the cartography references
