I always wondering if people inhabited the maps I make (especially when I am not looking!)
So I totally approve of the Mt. Olympus gated-community and marina proposal, assuming Cartotalk members get condos on the summit.

A marina? On a mountain?

Sign me up for a condo though!

LOl - put that on your website under "about us" and let us know how it works for you. I prefer the guise of yoda than a super-hero Greek god, personally.

Marina - that would be located at the base of the mountain, for those needing directions. Hey - its pure fantasy, or isn't it?

Looks like I'm Poseidon. In that case, I'll need a condo close to that marina... ;)

unfortunately Erin I think it looks like you are Hades. But I could be wrong...

I'll trade you Hercules for Hades. I think it suits me better

Sorry, Herc, no can do on the trade. Pull off a few seriously evil deeds and I'll consider making you my Prince of Darkness. I'm Hades and I'm proud.

Naw... its just from a Wonder Woman comic. and speaking of women, it was painful to realise that, except for Analisa, I didnt have any female names come to mind. What a bunch of NERDS we are..!

Hmmm... might be Hermes.

Wonder Woman or not, these are definately the Twelve Olympians, but there's 13 figures in the image...

Anyway...

Nick is, quite fittingly, Zeus the upper-god.
I would be Poseidon, god of the sea.
Erin is probabely Hephaestus, god of fire.
Ben could be Hermes (looks like some telecommunication device, you can use it to tap somebody on the shoulder from very far away...)
Analisa can take her pick from the available godesses: Hera, Demeter, Artemis (godess of the hunt, so I'm guessing that's the red figure on the bottom row), Athena, Aphrodite or Hestia.
Derek might be Ares
Dave could be Hades (since he's down below) or Dionysus
And that leaves Apollo for Jean-Louis

hans,
I'm now Hephaestus, you say? Honestly I'm a little disappointed I don't get to be the lord of the underworld anymore. you've taken the wind right out of my sails.
